DJ RKG is the man, and one of the most professional vendors I’ve worked with. He DJed my North Indian x South Indian x Jewish wedding celebration of 400+ people. Here’s what makes RKG a great DJ: Accessible & communicative - DJ RKG always responded to my questions and requests immediately, even when he was traveling. He was willing to jump on a call whenever needed. I always felt like a priority, though I know he had lots of other things on his plate. Adaptable - As is true with any wedding, things evolved during the months leading up to the event and even the night before the event. Rahul was willing to make a change with no fuss, and even provided advice on event flow, MCing, etc when we needed it. Trustworthy & Resourceful - When we needed additional mics or screens, Rahul was able to source quotes and options for us. He helped us find a dhol player who was fantastic and knew how to work a crowd, at a very fair rate. Even when I needed help with things completely unrelated to DJing like decor, DJ RKG provided reputable recommendations. He showed up ahead of time and ready to go. Fun - DJ RKG lit up the dance floor. He knew the exact right music to play - we got compliments from our guests on the music choices. He offered the opportunity for us to come up to the DJ booth. Elite Events is the top DJ and event planner in the business. My fiancée and I recently used Elite Events for our engagement party and they operated on a whole other level. Kavan and his team were super responsive any time of day and night and were able to organize what we needed for our event. The team was able to even co-ordinate directly with the hall and sort through all of the logistics. It was great working with Kavan and his team! He was so flexible with everything we were looking for and had no issues making last minute changes. Two days prior to our wedding ceremony, we needed to find a new videographer for live streaming and he went out of his way to make sure we had someone for our big day! Everyone loved the music and we got so many compliments regarding the mixing of songs and the MC’ing. They were also very welcoming to our guests requesting songs during the open dance floor. I live in Maryland, and I traveled to New York for an event and DJ Kavan and his team were DJing and I knew I had to get them for my wedding. I paid extra for the travel but it was all worth it. (Even with travel, their price was still reasonable) He had everything I had planned for each event from a Dholi to sparkles on stage to a photoboth to a mobile baraat and more. Kavan is an awesome MC. He can definitely get the crowd hyped up, and he knows his audience to music jam. I definitely recommend them for your next event. You won't regret it!

I recently got married at the Liberty House and Rahul and his team absolutely killed it. The services provided included: DJ, uplights, 360 video booth, Cloud Dance, and Spark Machines. The team did an overall amazing job! They were also very attentive to cover up times when things weren't going well with the schedule behind the scenes with great transitional music. Apart from being incredibly professional throughout the whole process, the team was immensely kind and catered towards our desires while working with the structure of the venue. In addition to successfully carrying out all the services, we received glasses of water from the team as all the guests came up to greet us individually. We noticed all the big and small details which truly resulted in one of the best experiences we could have ever imagined. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to have a fun and smooth wedding! :)

DJ Rahul was honestly a godsend. Super professional, accommodating, well-prepared beforehand, and incredibly great about last minute changes. Teamed up with MC Sheraz, they made our wedding event at Liberty House in Jersey City go smoothly, from the music to the timing of the cloud machine and spark machines, keeping the energy amazing throughout the whole night. They also provided a 360 photobooth and uplights for the event, elevating the event even more. They kept a great attitude all night and were so easy to work with. 100/10 would recommend!

We had an amazing experience with DJ Rahul at our sangeet, ceremony, and reception at the Picnic House in Brooklyn. He knew exactly what kind of songs to play for our fusion wedding, was great at actually being a DJ and reacted to the crowd, and was even able to adapt on the fly when one of my groomsmen wanted me to sing karaoke! We had a fantastic experience with our DJ! Before the events, we discussed the type of music we enjoyed dancing to and what we found annoying on the dance floor, like when DJs constantly remix Bollywood songs at the beat drop, making it hard for people to sing along or dance properly, which can lead to a loss of interest. At our events, he did an amazing job of keeping almost all our guests on the dance floor, with very few not dancing at all. His ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high made for an unforgettable night, and we truly had a blast with him!

Elite Events literally rocked the house (and neighborhood) at our at home Sangeet and left our reception guests calling us for 2 weeks after saying they have never danced so hard before. The entertainment and DJ are what make a reception, and Elite Events gave us not only a night we'll remember forever but our guests will as well. The production level of everything from the MC to the music to the LED screens and fireworks was spectacular in quality and organization. The staff was extremely professional and can't thank them enough. We ran out of seating as more people showed than RSVP'ed and the crew was quick to take action in moving the intros along and open up the dance floor to manage the people logistics for us. I have also never seen a sober reception that kept the dance floor packed from 9pm to 2am with almost 600 people, but Elite Events did it. I can not thank you enough for the most memorable night, it was like a movie. As time has past, our reception is still one of top events for our guests, and these guys made it happen.

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews unless I was really blown away by the service. This is certainly one of those instances, we had such an incredible experience with Elite Events. Kevin and his team were very personable and made us feel at ease throughout the initial process. They provided us with amazing treatment, especially given the fact that we had a Covid wedding. Kevin and his team made sure to accommodate our requests as they were changing by the week. We put a lot of trust into this company. While juggling many other obstacles, we didn’t have a lot of time to discuss with Kevin and his team our expectations. We gave Kevin a brief understanding of the types of music we like and asked him to do the best he could. The outcome we got was much better than we had expected. We had multiple friends even ask about our dj after the event. I’d certainly recommend using Elite Events for any event of any size.

My husband and I used DJ Kavan for our wedding at Chateau La Mer in Long Island and we are extremely happy we did! We wanted a mix of Indian and American music and with DJ Kavan's help and guidance, we had a great selection and variety.
